On May 26 and 27, Rust Wars 3 took place, a Corrosion and Integrity Congress and Fair organized by Mentoris SPA in Viña del Mar, Chile.

Andrea Contreras, our Operations Manager at Domolif, had the opportunity to present the topic: “New Standard for Microbiological Corrosion Prevention for the Control and Integrity of Aqueducts”, where she explained the factors influencing this type of corrosion, as well as the consequences it generates within the industry.

The main objective was to highlight how prevention can avoid plant shutdowns, reduce the lifespan of materials, and increase maintenance time and equipment requirements.

This international event brought together more than 100 registrants, 16 presentations, and over 50 participating companies, along with 9 sponsors and partners, including Infocorrosion, Pipeline Intelligence, and the Chilean Mining Foundation.
